About me
A Yankee by birth and an Atlantan by choice, Jon Effron resides in the heart of Atlanta with his wife Jaci and daughters Ari and Ziva. Jon moved to Atlanta in 2006, after spending his twenties living in New York City working in the technology and media industries. Since moving to Atlanta, he's worked with hundreds of home buyers and sellers, created and written an award winning real estate blog, developed a townhome community, volunteered extensively, founded a neighborhood merchant's association, co-owned a clothing boutique and made thousands of friends along the way. He was awarded the Atlanta Scholars Kollel Tribute to Jewish Learning in 2016, and is a founding member and Immediate Past President of Hebrew Order of David Lodge Magen David. Jon is the Principal at The A Is For Atlanta Group, a leading residential real estate sales team at Compass, and has been recognized as one of the 100 Most Influential Real Estate Agents in Georgia by Real Estate Executive Magazine. A proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Jon loves making tacos, hosting gatherings, playing trivia and hanging out with his awesome family.
