About me
Marcie Solomon, formerly of Long Island, New York, is a resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and practicing attorney. Prior to making a career switch to the law, Solomon worked in the Arts Management arena, where she most recently served as the VP of Orchestra Operations of the Pittsburgh Symphony. A highlight of her tenure included bringing the orchestra to perform for Pope John Paul II at the Vatican for an ecumenical concert of hope. In addition to her law degree, Solomon holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Double Bass Performance and a Master of Arts Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University. Outside of work, Solomon is most passionate about her family and her work in the Jewish community. She volunteers with the Jewish Federation of Pittsburgh, serves on the National Young Leadership Cabinet of the Jewish Federations of North America, and spends time at her synagogue. Solomon and her husband, Nathan Goldblatt, share two young children and their home with two dogs, and two cats. When not working or volunteering, Solomon fosters her love of learning through travel, literature, and attendance at performing arts events.
