About me
Doug is the President of Splendid Chocolates, a tradition started by his grandfather in Poland before WWII. In 2017, he founded Cannfections, bringing his expertise in confectionary manufacturing to the Canadian Cannabis industry. Bringing change to the community is important to Doug. He is currently on the board of Federation CJA in Montreal and has held various positions in the organization including Chair of West Island Division, participating in Leadership Development, Chair of Jewish Chamber of Commerce, and Co-chaired National Young Leadership.Doug saw an opportunity during the Spring floods in 2017 and 2019 to connect those in need with those that wanted to help. He mobilized the community by creating a Facebook group to crowdsource an emergency response. Thousands of volunteers provided immediate, hands-on emergency support to people in need.Doug lives in Montreal with his wife Stacey and daughters Lexi (12) and Nicki (10).
