About me
Jennifer Goldson is a Professor of Legal Writing at Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to her appointment at Capital, Jenni was a practicing attorney in Columbus for 25 years, focusing primarily in the family law field. She co-chaired the judicial subcommittee of the Columbus Bar Association's family law committee for over ten years. Jenni's work in the Jewish community is presently focused in her board engagement at Jewish Family Services, where she serves as Board Vice Chair and Co-Chair of the Nominating and Governance committee. In 2017, she was recognized by JFS as Board Member of the Year for helping to establish a pro bono legal clinic at the agency, which is still active and serving those in need. Prior to her involvement at JFS, Jenni served on the board of her synagogue, Congregation Tifereth Israel, and was chair of the membership committee, Board of Education, and Youth Commission. In her spare time, Jenni loves to watch sports, play pickleball, cook, and solve puzzles and word games. She and her husband, Jamie, live in Bexley, Ohio and have three children: Micah (25), Sari (22) and Eliana (18). All three of the Goldson children have participated in the Wexner Service Corps.
