About me
Scott A. Stone is one of the pioneers of non-scripted/reality television. His cutting-edge programs include award-winner series like: The Mole, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Shop ‘til You Drop, The Man Show, A Season With, and BrainSurge. Stone also moonlights as an Adjunct Professor teaching television at his alma mater, USC, annually rated the #1 film school in the world. His work as a “goffer” while in school led to an eight-year stint as a studio executive at Lorimar-Telepictures. In 1988 he started his first of three successful production companies where he has produced nearly 3000 episodes of television airing on 28 different networks, making him one of the most prolific producers in non-scripted. He also sits on several boards at USC and in his community including Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills, where he is Immediate Past President, and Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity. He credits his husband, artist Gary Frederick Brown, their two college-aged sons, and his USC students with keeping him on the cutting edge.
